4H Fair starts tomorrow. We will be attending as participants for the first time ever. Definitely excited but nervous too. Wish us luck!!
The day fair ends I am getting in my car and driving to Chicago to see my best friend from California. She is attending a bloggers conference there. (Hope to come back with some great tidbits regarding blogs.) We will be spending 2 days together in Chicago.
I get back from Chicago and the next day two of my brothers will be heading into town for our family reunion.
So for the next two weeks I will be enjoying family and friends to the fullest.
I will try to give everyone updates but if you don’t hear from me for the next couple weeks you know what I am up to.

I will continuously come back to the fact that creating a step by step process to each day will allow you to achieve success.  I personally use Simple-ology to create my day and it works so well I can't believe how much I get done and how focused I am able to be.  That doesn't mean there still aren't days when I just don't feel like doing anything or I feel like I am running in circles; but even on those days it can refocus me or at least give me enough direction to get that one thing done that keeps moving me forward.  Definitely check it out:  http://www.simpleology.com/p/s101/colleen.rocha34/  remember course 101 is free; no strings attached.  In addition there are always other insightful items that are sent to me that are also free.  For example last week I got a free twitter cashmap which is improving how I use Twitter.  So now it is 7:30am I have already eaten, meditated, reviewed all my email and responded, updated Sponsor Daddy contacts and now blogging.  Great start to the day! Last night I attended a webinar and I wanted to make some comments on it.   I can't remember who exactly was stating this but boy did it hit home.  As I said yesterday I spent hours planning out in great detail my next 3 weeks.  During this time I did a internal review of where I am and where I want to be in 3 weeks.  I realized that while I was giving a strong 6-8 hours Monday thru Friday to building my ultimate life and I am experiencing constant growth and some financial success; I wasn't where I wanted to be.  WHY?? Then a light went on; during my other career in the work force I always worked 50-70 hours per week.  I did this for years.  There were payoffs.  I always made a good wage.  But I also always hated it.  I never had enough money and I never had enough time with my family.  So 3 years ago I tried switching gears and starting my own  company.  Started out OK but in the end had to go back out into the work force.  Spent one final year out there and it ended up being my worst experience to date.  But that's OK because that ultimately is what led me back to my own personal correct life path.   That being said I realized that I needed to be putting that kind of effort into growing this stage of my life.  It wasn't going to happen by magic.  Plus for a change I really like what I am doing and the freedom I will always have because I work for myself is my first and foremost motivator. So back to that comment on the webinar; during that presentation it was mentioned that if we were making $10000 per month at our jobs and our boss asked us to give more time, focus or effort we would do it right?  You bet we would.  So shouldn't we be giving that effort to growing our business?  Of course we should!  What got me was that earlier in the day I had already come to that realization.   So what is the big deal here?  Well the big deal here is that the universe is screaming at me that I am 100% on the right path.  To me personally whenever things line up like that (I think it and then just hours later someone reinforces it) it is full on approval and that I definitely need to keep doing it.  Needless to say I got goosebumps and experienced a moment of supreme happiness.  So pay attention, you will get these clues as to the direction you should go.  They happen all the time but most of us; me included, miss them.   Luckily the universe never gives up on us and sometimes just has to shout a little louder till we hear them!

Last week Sponsor Daddy being the benevolent entity that it is went live with wordpress blogs. I am such a newbie to blogs but this new blog will allow me to build my presence on the internet. I spent today learning how to link this blog to my new SD blog. SUCCESS! (and it only took 2 tries). The video training is perfectly easy to master. If I can do it anyone can do it.

In addition I have been spending 4-5 hours each day working on a part time venture to help grow my income level. This venture known as Review Boost is a really cool little company that hired me on to contact small businesses to show them how Review Boost can increase their presence, improve their ranking and increase their sales and customer retention. I made over 70 calls in the last two days between calls for Review Boost and calls on leads interested in my other business opportunities; Sponsor Daddy, Simpleology and Platinum One Destinations.

Finally, I spent 4 hours planning in great detail (remember DMO daily method of operation) the next 3 weeks of my life. My daughters 4H fair begins this weekend and will require 10 days of 110% attention. The day the fair ends I am heading to Chicago once again to see my dearest friend from California. I haven’t seen her in 4 years so needless to say we cannot wait to get together. She is a master blogger so I am going to be picking her brains.

Three days after I return from Chicago my brother and his wife and family will be arriving from Florida to attend our family reunion. He asked me today to pull together a few friends (by the time we were done 50 people were on the guest list) for a party the day after he arrives. So now on top of everything else I need to get my house in order to be able to entertain and bunk down 18 people. Wish me luck. Actually, NO PROBLEM if I didn’t have to work every weekend I would LOVE to be a wedding and party planner.

Let’s see what else. Oh yeah, I do have 2 sites I am reviewing as possible additions to my marketing and networking portfolio. As soon as I can determine if they will benefit us I will let everyone know. Just an FYI though it probably won’t be much before the first week of August before I get back to a focused DMO on reviewing opportunities and improving our personal development.

In the mean time right now it’s a lot about FUN. But isn’t that what I said Coach Colleen is about; Personal Development, spirituality and FUN!

I have to face the facts that this endeavor will require me to pick up the phone and call people. You can only do so much on the internet. The personal touch is and will always be the best way to connect with people and grow your business.

I have set a goal of contacting 10 east coast people in the morning and 10 west coast people in the afternoon. My sponsor Holly has been too kind and supplied each of our team members with 125 leads to contact. That is how committed this team is to success.

When I call I make my voicemail short and sweet; I introduce myself, indicate why I am calling (based on their stated need), tell them I can help and leave my cell phone number. I then indicate I will follow up with an email and sign off. I then follow up with a short email giving all the same information and send it.

The goal I have for my first contact is to get them talking and learn more about what their intent is. If it is building a business – I send them to my http://ccruniverse.sponsordaddy.net; if it is researching a business opportunity – I send them to my http://ccruniverse.sponsordaddy.com.

My next goal is to begin contacting fellow networkers on the phone. Calls are and will be my toughest hurdle to overcome but overcome it I WILL!! I will succeed at this because I want to.

This weekend we, as a nation, will celebrate another Fourth of July. Take just one minute on Saturday and really think about what that means. We are a free, democratic society with all the rights and privledges that come along with that statement. Don’t throw those rights and privledges away. Pay attention and don’t just follow or do what you are told. Never forget to question!!!

As a whole I do not think we question what are government is doing or how our representatives are representing us. This has nothing to do with what “party” you may or may not believe in; this has to do with thinking and acting. We all have brains, eyes, ears and mouths; USE THEM!

We, the people, have our own best interest at heart; never, ever, ever be too afraid or too lazy or too non-commital to remember that.

I learned how to set up my own autoresponder program and prospect files. I cannot believe how easy Sponsordaddy makes it to really customize youR system for everything you do. In this case I was trying to figure out a way to better manage the people that respond to my advertising with information about their own company. While I am always looking at opportunities not every one presented to me fits my portfolio; I still want to respond to these people with something that will help them.

So after a little fumbling around I created an autoresponder with three FREE items that will help anyone increase traffic and or network.

I then created a seperate prospect list for these contacts. Took me less than 20 minutes to do it all and will take me less than 5 everyday now to respond to these people. HOW COOL IS THAT!

I still feel I am this close.. to a real breakthrough. Traffic is good (definitely check out the first two links) now I just need sales. Don’t worry I’ll get it.
