I am taking today off. Ok, well, kinda…

After I finish blogging and listening to a quick webcast by Mark Joyner I am taking the rest of the day off.

I slept in; not intentionally it just worked out that way. I was actually up at 6:30 but my husband had the computer and since I couldn’t use the computer and the T.V. seemed like a total waste of time; I decided to relax and meditate for a few minutes. Well a few minutes led to 30 minutes and then I was so relaxed and he was still on the computer so I decided to go ahead and take a few more winks of sleep. Well next thing I know it was 9:30 OMG.

At first I felt guilty but then I remembered my passions. And I realized that taking the day slow by sleeping in was great because in 1.5 weeks the kids go back to school and sleeping in will be a thing of the past again. Secondly, why not spend a whole day with the kids for the exact same reason.

So I am following my passions and I am going to go enjoy the kids!!!

Someone asked me last night what I did for a living. hmm….. Well, like the title indicates I do a lot of things.

I am a writer, I guess you guys know that, but I also write for various websites and blogs.

I am a network marketer and promote my Sponsor Daddy marketing and prospect management site, my Tampogo shopping and fundraising site and Platinum One Destinations my travel site.

I am a Mom and for those of you that may not have kids; trust me it takes an organized and efficient leader to run a family.

But when you take a look at everything you start to see, as I always say, “I am all about personal development, spirituality and fun”. It is me, it has always been me; I am only now getting it…

I am finally seeing what I should have years ago and I am following my dream. Only the universe knows where it will all go. But I am in it for the adventure and plan on spending the second half of my life enjoying it, sharing it and helping others to do the same.

The past 10 days have been dedicated to doing. I haven't really tried any new lead or marketing techniques I just keep doing what I am doing. I get up; review my goals; set up my simpleology for the day; review the daily method of operation and get to work. I continue to generate through advertising 1-2 new contacts everyday that I am talking to on the phone; these new contacts have in turn introduced me to other new contacts. I get people regularly looking at my sites; signing up for webinars and of course joining me in my business opportunities. Sponsor Daddy and Tampogo are the most popular ventures people join. Probably because they are both no cost to low cost but Platinum One Destinations is getting more attention as I meet more and more people and we start talking about travel I point them in that direction to use it as a membership rather than a business. I like how this works don't you… Next week I will be building time into my schedule to continue my search for good lead and advertising sources.

I am on a natural high today. I got up at 5:30am when it was still dark out. Yup the days are getting shorter. But at about 5:55 I heard the first tentative bird asking “Is there anybody out there?”" Next thing I know the whole neighborhood was alive with “Just shout if you can hear me!” My day had begun. (By the way name the artist and song those lines were taken from.)

I was up and ready to face this Monday.

I got to enjoy a quick cup of coffee as the sun started to make an appearance; then had to drive my daughter to another babysitting gig. It was really interesting to be on the road at that hour. Since I work from home I don’t often get out at that time. Watching most people who had concerned looks on their faces as they race to beat the red light really bothered me so I took action.

I smiled and waved at all the cars I passed on the way home. I hope that someone that saw me took that small act of kindness and used it to turn the morning around; starting their day on a better happier note. I know that by looking for those stupid little joyous moments can change the course of a day. Remember Kitty Runway… a great example of something stupid simple that makes me smile and begins the day out right.

So take a minute and look around; find something, anything to make you smile. Now hold it for 10 seconds. Now go on with your day and see if it doesn’t change your outlook.

Funny thought hit me this past week and really sunk in this weekend. Several months ago I picked CCRuniverse as my “company name”. As I began building my opportunities I continued to use it. At first I thought I was doing this to just make it easier to remember my ID’s from company to company. But in the last week something else has emerged.

I am creating my universe all around me. Things are melding in a way I never saw would happen and now CCRuniverse has so much more meaning and depth than I ever expected it to have.

It is who and what I am, it is all about personal growth, spirituality and fun. It is about changing the universe.

Yup, I am just a little ole girl in MI but I can and I will and I have always been making a difference. When I look at all the people I touch each day it almost become mind boggling how it spreads and expands. Can’t wait to see where this adventure takes me next.

I do. Well at least I try to. I remember way back my youth… I had to take two physical education classes in college to graduate. Well I wasn’t huge on sports and quite frankly I was carrying a heavy core class load so I wanted something easy. I decided to get both of them over in one quarter to be done with it. Well what to take…
BOWLING yeah that’s it… OK, what else.
Relaxation… that sounds just about right.

Well lucky me I ended up with a bowling class at 8:00am and wait it gets better. I got the instructor from hell. We even had a written final for bowling. But I will say, although way harder than I thought, I did become a better bowler. Now that’s not saying much when you start with a 50pt. average. I did get it up to 125 though.

That being said relaxation was a very different experience. Dana, my instructor was great but I felt so out of place. What was relaxation!!! Breathing yeah that’s it breathing. OK I do that all day every day; piece of cake. Wrong! Ever notice when you try to concentrate on something… everything else gets in the way.

We would start by stretching and then get comfortable and begin our breathing exercises. Through the whole class I never really got it but I did what Dana asked and I passed. All said and done.

Well many years later when a wonderful friend of mine told me she was meditating and how it was helping her I decided to look into it. Well low and behold that silly class I took in college; that thing they called relaxation was actually meditation… Silly me…

So for the last 10 years I have been on again off again trying to master the skill of meditation. Well today I had an epiphany (I love that word)!

Today started out like any other; I sat down, got comfortable and began my breathing. Things were going well when all of a sudden I began to feel like I was filling with helium. I can’t describe it any other way. It was amazing. I was filled with this feeling of peace and joy. I thank the universe for that few moments of something, well something I have never felt before.

If you practice meditation, if you don’t, whatever you do remember you are connected to something more; it is out there!!!

You will recall recently I posted about creating a 90 day plan. You will also recall I often speak about my daily method of operation. You also know I use simpleology religiously. What are you doing? Sit down right now and think about your game plan as you face each and every day. Do you have one?

As I have made these items more and more of a habit and believe me I have had to work at it… when I get off track or forget for a few days; I just come back to it and focus, focus, focus. I don’t beat myself up (well at least not too badly) I just look back and realize no matter what I still took some action and I keep moving forward. Even if I look back and don’t think I took any action I still keep going and move forward again.

In the last 10 days things have begun to happen. I have new people interested in at least learning more about one of my business opportunities; I have more and more people finding one of these opportunities is the right one for them and coming on board. I am meeting people that are inspiring me and opening doors like never before. So I asked myself what was the difference; why now and not 2 months ago?

One thing came to mind. I am now physically tracking everything I do. I use the figs and gauges format in our sponsor daddy training. People had told me over and over to track myself and sometimes I kinda did but 10 days ago I became focused and making sure I did. Now I just keep it next to me and add to it as I do it. What can I say it’s working.

When Progress is Measured and Reported, Progress Improves Dramatically!

My daughter has started her first regular babysitting jobs this summer. In fact, in a couple minutes I need to take her to a gig. She loves the fact that she can now buy something she wants without asking me first (as long as she has put away her set amount for savings; it’s her money after that).

Remember that first job? Hate to age myself but I pumped gas. It was the greatest job; except when it rained or was below zero. We didn’t have fancy covering overhead so we got wet and cold and of course the harder the rain or colder it was always brought out the “please check my oil” crowd. But I still loved it.

Since then I have had many jobs but pumping gas still brings a smile to my face.

Now I am heading off on a new career choice and again I have a smile on my face. What could be better!

My last thought for the day. (Then I will be computerless; husband needs it for the day. I feel naked)
