Folks what an amazing week we had with T3 Training…
We learned about action, goals and objective, personality types, memory joggers and compensation.
We had amazing attendance for our first week of training…
And everyone came back each day so I know we were giving you the tools you need to succeed.
This is what I live for… I have spent my entire career training, coaching and mentoring. I thrive on helping others achieve their goals.
I am sharing with you all my years of business experience in a way that is straightforward and to the point. Folks if you are here to hear how easy it is to create success in network marketing you are in the wrong place. It is not a get rich quick scheme.
It is a way to create accountability and activity that will grow your success no matter what you are doing.

I had at least 5 people tell me last week how different this was from prior experiences in network marketing where sponsors were happy to take money but then never called or spoke to you again.

We are going to do a review this week since we know that there are a lot more people joining us for the first time.
I woke up today and I was tired. I went to bed early; in fact I went to bed too early so I was awake at 1:00 this morning. I tossed and turned for 2 hours and finally fell back to sleep but then the alarm went off at 5:00am. I obviously was in the middle of a sleep cycle because boy oh boy my eyes did not want to stay open.
Well I knew I had to get up;
One because I didn’t want my daughter to miss the bus again because I forgot to get her up. Anyone on last weeks call knows that I was so into prepping for my day promoting Tampogo that I forgot to get my daughter up for school one day last week… oops…
Two because I know this business is going to succeed and in order for it to succeed I need to get up and take action.
So like I asked you dozens of times last week…
HOW BAD DO YOU WANT THIS….

If you want to build a large network of people you cannot just sit around expecting it to magically appear.
You have to take… Action…
NO MORE EXCUSES:
I don’t have enough time
No one is interested
Don’t know enough people
I’m Not a salesperson
I Don’t have enough money to market my business
YOU HAVE TO TAKE ACTION. You can overcome all of these if you take action.
YOU HAVE TO TAKE MASSIVE ACTION.
Remember how we talked about how so many people burn themselves out quickly by taking massive action (think of that New Year’s Resolution where you were going to lose 20 lbs. You probably did great and took lots of action the first week but by week two you were done and probably never thought about it again till next New Year’s Eve when you said, “Now this year I Am going to lose 20 lbs…) We’ve all done it …
Of course there are 3% of people that are able to take massive action and better yet sustain massive action. But the other 97% of us start out great and them sputter and quit..
We have the best intentions but don’t stick with it. Here is a way to overcome that problem.
Make progress every day. Do one thing, make one call, send one email, read one paragraph, attend one call. Make that your goal.
Then accomplish that one goal each and every day for 4 days straight. Just that one thing for four days.
Now on the fourth day increase that goal slightly; make 3 calls, send 3 emails, read 3 paragraphs… Again accomplish that one goal each and every day for 4 days.
Next increase that goal again, just a little; make 5 calls, send 5 emails…
You know the drill by now; do this for 4 more days. Then increase it again…
If you follow this plan EXACTLY… I guarantee by the time you get through these last 4 days you are going to begin setting higher and higher goals each and every time because you have learned you can successfully set a goal and achieve it. And nothing works better to create success than practice. You’ve all heard the saying practice makes perfect
This is also a perfect scenario to plan and achieve your goals on the Tampogo STEP team. Remember how your goal in the first week is to get 4 people on autoship who can get 4 people on autoship. By setting small achievable goals you will begin to reap the rewards without feeling overwhelmed.
You aren’t worried about what is required in week 12 you are just setting attainable goals in every increasing numbers. This will get you to week 12 and by then you are ready to handle that…
So now you have a plan of attack regarding taking massive action so how do you create real action in your life.
A = ATTITUDE
You have to have a "will do" attitude. Take the work CAN’T and CAN out of your vocabulary. Make it WILL DO.. We all CAN do anything but it’s only when we say we WILL do it that we take action.
Anyone who spends anytime talking to me knows that is my method of operation. I will do this… no matter what hurdles are placed before me I am going to find a way to jump over, go around or knock them down if I have to.
So how can you learn to do that?
You have to know how you are feeling.
Are you fearful, mad or bored.
You want to get yourself a copy of “The Emotional Scale” created by Esther and Jerry Hicks. I will be posting a copy out on my blog.

There are a total of 22 different emotions on that scale; what you want to do is figure out where you are on the scale then work on raising your emotions just few levels.
For example if you are fearful or feel you aren’t worth it; then get angry about it. This will raise your emotional level only 4-5 levels but think how that might affect your actions.
You would go from doing nothing because you are scared to an “I’ll show you…” attitude which WILL make you take action because you are angry.
Or maybe you are bored; by reviewing the scale you know that if you think about something that makes happy it will motivate you to being more enthusiastic thus prompting you to take…. What… Action…
So you say how do I shift my emotions upward.
Simple Think happy thoughts.
I know it’s corny and it sounds harder than you might think it is so I created a couple things you can do to help you find your happy thoughts.
First you want to make a physical list of all the great days in your life. For me it was the birth of my children, Graduating Cum Laude from College, Moving back to Michigan… You get the point.
Now keep that list handy. When you need the emotional push pick one of those days and spend the next 5 minutes remembering how you felt on that day. When I remember holding my daughter or son for the very first time; no matter how horrible my day may be going I am automatically lifted up.
So if you haven’t done it already it is now time to create your list of happy thoughts. That’s your HOMEWORK…
Now the second tool I use to improve my attitude is concentrating on all the abundance around me.
So let’s do a little exercise…
Look around you right now… What do you see…. Maybe it isn’t what you want your ultimate life to be but
Are you protected from the weather?
Do you have enough to eat?
Heck if you can’t think of anything else think of this. It’s my personal favorite…
Do you have enough air to breathe… Like I said last week NO ONE on this line right now can answer no to that.
That’s abundance. When you take a minute to really look at what you have; trust me you will automatically realize how good you have it thus raising your emotional level.
One last easy exercise. SMILE, right now, smile. Go look at yourself in the mirror smiling. I know corny… but it works.
So now we have ourselves on the road to a more positive outlook; what is the next component of action…
C = Clarity
Do you know who you are and what you really want to achieve? Most of us think we do but have NEVER clarified it.
Well I have clarified exactly what I want from life. I have it clearly defined in intimate detail including all aspects of my life and emotions. Financial how much do I will make, physical how do I look, relationships with my family and friends, community what I am giving back…
I look at those passions several times a day. I post them where I can see them.
In order to clarify your passions and vision try these simple steps:
Write down at least 10 items that will give you joy and fulfillment. Be sure each item in written in the form of a verb relating to being, doing or having…
BEING A SUPPORTIVE, HELPFUL AND LOVING MOM WHO HELPS MY KIDS AND OTHER KIDS LIVE THEIR LIVES TO THE FULLEST.
HAVING FUN, LAUGHING A LOT AND ENJOYING FAMILY AND FRIENDS.
BEING A MULTIMILLIONAIRE WITH TOTAL FINANCIAL SECURITY NOW AND INTO THE FUTURE
LIVING IN MY DREAM HOME ON ACREAGE IN PEACE AN HARMONY
They next step is to compare each item on your list to each other using the following steps.
Starting with the first item you wrote down; If you had to choose between having that first item or the second item which one would you choose.
Remember as you are comparing each item to the next you want to pick the one that you could not live without if you had to choose.
Then compare the item that is most important to you to the third item on the list in the same way. Again, which item would you choose. You continue comparing the item you choose to the next item on the list till you have gone through the whole list. This will give you your top passion.
If you are comparing two items and the second item becomes the most important then just continue down the list comparing that second item to the next item on the list
Example
My first item was
BEING A MULTIMILLIONAIRE WITH TOTAL FINANCIAL SECURITY NOW AND INTO THE FUTURE
And I compare it to my third item:
HAVING FUN, LAUGHING A LOT AND ENJOYING FAMILY AND FRIENDS.
HAVING FUN, LAUGHING A LOT AND ENJOYING FAMILY AND FRIENDS.
Is more important so I just go to the next item and compare it against…
Again, Once you have gone through the whole list one passion will come out as your top passion.
Now you go back to the top of the list and begin the process again; this will give you your second most important passion and so on till you have your top 5 passions.
You will review this list regularly and it will change so if some of the things you thought were high priorities actually don’t make your top 5 the first time; don’t worry as you accomplish more and more of your passions other ones will replace them.
For example I want to learn how to play the piano but it certainly isn’t as important to me right now as the 5 items I choose.
Now you have a strong, well thought out list of passions that you base all your decisions on. So for example in my case if I have to make a choice between reading or playing a game with my son. I am going to choose to play the game. Or instead of going out to dinner I take that money and put it into my business.
By staying focused on your passions you will be ready to take on the
Third component of Action…
T = TIME
We are now driving your success through positive emotion and a clear vision of who and what we are.
Now we have to begin using our time effectively to create our success.
We MUST treat our business like we would any job we’ve had in the past. You have to put the time in to create the success.
It can be as few as 2-3 hours a day but if you aren’t working at least 10+ hours a week, every week it will be so much more difficult to create real, sustainable success.
Based on your clear and concise vision of who you are and what you want you now need to create your goals and objectives. You have to know how to prioritize these and incorporate them into your daily activities.
Again I won’t talk much about goals and objective because Isaac is going to light a fire under you tomorrow but let me just mention a few things.
-Be SPECIFIC
-Think about what you will give to reach these goal. Time, money, effort…
-What is the exact date you want to achieve this goal by
-What actions will you consistently take to achieve the goals
Remember once you have your goals you are going to want to write them down and post them everywhere….
Moving on to the next step in creating Action…
I = INITIATIVE
You can’t sit around and make excuses and hope to create action which in turn will create your success. You have to have a plan. You want to know exactly what you are going to do today. Then go out and do it.
I actually struggled with this one for a while. I thought I knew it all. I had my college degree, I had 20+ years of experience in business, I didn’t need to learn more or have a plan of action. I was wrong…
It wasn’t until I began a journey of self development; that I began to create my success. Heck even Jack Canfield told us how he still works with his mentors to continue to grow.
Once I finally admitted I needed to be a student as well as a teacher I found an amazing free tool called simpleology that helped me create my DAILY METHOD OF OPERATION (DMO).
A Daily method of operation is a step by step layout of your day.
To create real time management you need to realize a few things.
First, the shortest distance between two points is a straight line. (remember we all learned that in high school geometry and you thought you would never use it in real life…) but in order to control time you have to understand that you want to create the shortest distance (amount of effort required) to get from pt. A to pt. B
Second is create a clear vision of what you want to accomplish with your time. You already created your ultimate life now break it down to what you want to accomplish today. Make 25 calls, write 2 articles, Send out 100 emails…
Third focus all your energy and attention on what you want to accomplish.
As Mark Joyner of simpleology always says, “see your target, keep it in your sites, hit it till you hit it”.
Now create a detailed list of exactly what you are going to do today to hit your target. This will give you the shortest path and focus all your energy and attention on that target.
Mine looks something like this: My target it to add one new iRep on autoship to my Tampogo business today.
Feed animals
Make coffee,
Read and respond to emails
Blog
Review social networking sites
Attend motivator call
Attend T3 training
Call or contact 25 prospects
Advertise on all free classified sites
You get the drift…
I review this first thing EVERY MORNING and adjust as necessary.
Things will still come up that throw you off course. For example I seem to have a very sick puppy this morning. He has been leaving me little presents all over. But by having my DMO to refer back to I am able to quickly get back on track.
By creating this and knowing what I want to accomplish I stay focused and have tripled my ability to accomplish my goals in half the time. Thus I am getting way more done…
What’s next…
O = ORGANIZE
I am the queen of time management and organization. My daily method of operation, DMO is critical to this but here are some other things to think about.
Do you have the correct phone carrier to allow you enough minutes to make all the calls you need to?
Do you have a separate email account for your business and are you familiar with how to create contacts within your email account to make it easier to send out messages.
Did you create a signature for your email that will go on ALL your coorespondence.
Remember you should also be keeping all your monthly bills like phone and internet as well as business expenses like paper, ink, office supplies and anything else you use for your business handy and work with you tax advisor in order to take advantage of all the tax write offs you may be eligible for at the end of the year.
I have an accordion folder with tabs for each type of expense and I store all my receipts here.
But the most important aspect of organization is tracking your progress.
When Progress is Measured, Progress Improves.
When Progress is Measured and Reported, Progress Improves Dramatically!
I use a simple sheet of notebook paper and along the left margin I write things like:
Exercise
Personal Growth
3 Way Calls
New prospect Calls
Follow up calls
Emails
Co. Events
Joined
Time on business
Along the top of the page I put the date then I make a check mark or add a short note under each category each day.
So I could tell you exactly how many calls or emails I made last Monday.
(162 emails and 27 calls)
I do this consistently every day…
So a quick review, we know how to improve our attitude, clarify who we are and what we want, create our goals and objectives, put a daily plan into place to take steps to success and track everything we are doing…
Now the final step to taking action…
N = NAVIGATE
The path to success in network marketing can be rocky and filled with lots of detours and distractions. If you keep a positive attitude and a clear vision; if you know what your goals are and create a day to day method to reach them and if you document and track what you are doing you will be paving that road to success making it easier to travel.
Many people say they want the time freedom and financial security that network marketing brings, but most aren't willing to do what is necessary to make those dreams come true.
ACTION…
Here is the major thing you MUST learn. You have to take action each and every day. There are no magic wands or magic keys I can give you other than You must take action everyday…
Now action for each of us should include all the tools in our business arsenal such as direct contact, social networking, blogging, videos and whatever else you find is helpful.
But the MOST important of all of these and the one you MUST do each and every day is direct contact with prospects.
Social networking, referral network, attraction networking is all great and very useful tool but it will take you 6-12 months to begin to build enough of a presence on line to begin generating any real leads.
Where as direct contact. TALKING TO PEOPLE. Is the only way to begin to grow you business immediately. If you do not talk to people you will not grow your business.
Remember way back at the beginning I gave you a phrase to keep in front of you each and every day?
Well let me ask you again:
HOW BAD DO I WANT THIS? If you want it bad enough You will take action EVERY day the most important of which is to TALK TO PEOPLE.
Use the tools I presented and be committed to these steps to create the actions needed to build your success.
It won’t happen over night but it will happen very quickly if you do something every day; talk to people every day.
