I am personally saddened and I am sure there are so many  others across the world feeling the same way today as we face our loss. 

We will never forget him and I know myself and so many others are committed to continuing his legacy both within Tampogo and as true leaders in the network marketing arena.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Blessings Beyond My Wildest Dreams…

Life has a way of surprising us and it sure never ceases to amaze me…

I continue to grow emotionally, spiritually and financially and somehow the universe always puts exactly what I need in front of me when I need it. 

I have been blessed with amazing friends and family and during the last few weeks so many people have offered me help to keep me moving forward during my time of being computerless. 

Because of this I continue to grow and know any one can overcome anything it just takes learning how to raise yourself above self pity and sorrow and fill your mind and life with joy and abundance.

How to Balance Your Emotional Scale…

I have written about this in the past but it is now a great time to review it…

 

For many the Holiday Season is full of stress and worry.  In order to overcome this you need to realize how you are feeling.  Once you know how you are feeling only then can you begin to improve it…

 

We are all so overwhelmed most of the time that we don’t stop to think about how we are feeling we just overlook it.  But if we take just a few minutes a couple times a day to really think about what we are feeling we will be able to begin to change and improve those feelings in order to change and improve our life. 

 

There is a fantastic tool I use called the Emotional Scale that I found in “Ask and It is Given" by Esther and Jerry Hicks”.  This scale allows you to figure out where you are right now and by changing your emotions upward just a couple of steps you will begin the process of changing your overall attitude. 

 

For example; if you are fearful or feel you aren’t worth it; then get angry about it.  This will raise your emotional level only 4-5 levels but think how that might affect your actions. 

You would go from doing nothing because you are scared to an “I’ll show you…” attitude which WILL make you take action because you are angry.  This small adjust begins the process.

Then you could work on going from Anger to Frustration/Impatience again this upward movement will take you to a place of action.  So the “I’ll show you…” progresses into doing something and creating “See what I did…”.

It is just a little thing but if practiced regularly you will begin to find yourself staying within the top 7 on the scale which will change your life…

Look at yourself in the mirror and smile.  I know you WILL feel like you are crazy but do it you will be surprised at how it immediately raises your emotional level. 

 

My Dad always told me and my brothers, “You don’t have to be crazy to live here but it sure helps”. 

 

So folks be a little crazy and smile at yourself you deserve it…

From my title you might think I am going to complain about or encourage the government run health care debate going on right now…

 NOPE…

 I am going to share some things about how the universe is helping me along on my path to success as a smarter networker and Tampogo iRep.

 

As you all know I am working with Isaac and Tracy developing hands on training course to help all of us work smarter not harder.  We have been doing this call for 4 days now and we have 23 people that have committed to being there every day.  Not bad…

So as I began working on my presentations for these calls I found less and less time to do prospecting and it made me a little worried that I wouldn’t be able to keep my team growing. 

 

I really should have known better…

 

In the last 2 weeks things have changed for me in how I am approaching my day. 

 

I still get up and most days do my social networking and responding to emails; at 9:00am I hop on the motivator call and at 10:00am I am, of course, on the T3 training call but then the rest of the day has been spent on specific appointments with people that HAVE CONTACTED ME…

 

I am either helping them with some specific hands on training to improve their networking abilities this in turn has helped them to grow their teams thus adding 6 new people to my team without me doing anything different.

 OR

I am talking to people that I have had in my communication line but only in the last couple weeks are interested in joining TamPogo.  I have two new iReps that have joined in the last week that fall under this category but wait it gets better one of these iReps has already gotten 4 more people to join 3 of which have gotten on autoship.

 

If you doubt that knowing your visions, setting your goals, adhering to a daily method of operation and taking action don’t work here is proof. 

 

I will be a success at this because I know how badly I want it and I am keeping that phrase right in front of me each and every day:

 

HOW BAD DO YOU WANT IT?

 

Every time I lag or don’t want to do something I just ask myself that question and I find the energy and focus to keep doing…

 

So let me ask you HOW BAD DO YOU WANT IT? 

 

Then go out and do it and let the universe begin to put things in your path that improve the health of not just your business but yourself…

I Have a Secret…

And of course I am going to share it with you all. 

I have harped and harped about sharing our successes to help each other, setting goals and living with feelings of abundance and joy but if you are all like me you still feel like you just aren’t making the progress you should. 

I have had an amazing 2 months; I have grown a team to 75 people; more than double what it was at the end of October, so if I just keep doubling it I will have an amazing income by very early next year.  But I set goals for more… 

I have followed my daily method of operation (DMO), I have reviewed my goals and passions daily, I have kept and blessing journal and I have given way more than I have asked in return.  For this I am grateful and overall happy with my results.  But I set goals for more…

SO; Why aren’t I achieving more???

I know it is because of that darn knot in my stomach, that ego that keeps whispering (even when I can’t hear it); you know you can’t.  You know you set the goals to high.  You know you aren’t …  smart enough, motivated enough, passionate enough (whatever I am not enough of).   Well today I found something that will help us all face these doubts and give us a tool to overcome them.

The Magic Formula to Better Results:
It’s Your Response that Counts

In today’s economic times, when everywhere you look there’s a rumbling of great uncertainty, I think we should all take a pause (and a deep breath) to think about our lives.

Are we moving in the direction we want to be? When things happen in the world that seem so far beyond our individual control, it can feel unsettling. And even though we think we are the masters of our own success, watching the news these days can chip away at our beliefs.

Even in tough economic times, you get to decide how to respond to certain conditions, opportunities, and outcomes—both good and bad.

While I don’t claim to be an economist, I do know one important fact. The economy is the same for everyone, it’s how you respond to it that determines how you feel about it.

It’s yet another example of what I’ve been teaching for years. . .

E + R = O
(Events + Responses = Outcome)

The basic idea is that every outcome you experience in life (whether it’s success or failure, wealth or poverty, wellness or illness, intimacy or estrangement, joy or frustration) is the result of how you have responded to an earlier event (or events) in your life.

If you don’t like the outcomes you are currently experiencing, there are two basic choices you can make:

Choice #1: You can blame the event (E) for your lack of results (O).

In other words, you can blame the economy, the weather, the lack of money, lack of education, racism, gender bias, the current administration in Washington, your wife or husband, your boss’s attitude, the lack of support, and so on.

No doubt all these factors exist, but if they were the deciding factor, nobody would ever succeed.

For every reason it’s not possible, there are hundreds of people who have faced the same circumstances and have succeeded.

It’s not the external conditions and circumstances that stop us — it’s us!

We think limiting thoughts and engage in self-defeating behaviors. We defend our self-destructive habits (such as drinking and smoking) with indefensible logic.

We ignore useful feedback, fail to continuously educate ourselves and learn new skills, waste time on the trivial aspects of our lives, engage in idle gossip, eat unhealthy food, fail to exercise, spend more than we make, fail to tell the truth, don’t ask for what we want, and then wonder why our lives aren’t working.

Choice #2: You can instead simply change your responses (R) to the events (E) until you get the outcomes (O) you want.

You can change your thinking, change your communication, change the pictures you hold in your head (your images of the world) and you can change your behavior (the things you do.) That’s all you really have any control over anyway.

Unfortunately, most of us are so engrained in our habits that we never change our behavior.

We get stuck in our conditioned responses-to our spouses and children, to our colleagues at work, to our customers and our clients, to our students, and to the world at large.
You have to gain control of your thoughts, your images, your dreams and daydreams, and your behavior.

Everything you think, say, and do needs to become intentional and aligned with your purpose, your values, and your goals.

If you don’t like your outcomes, change your responses!

Here’s an example of how this works…

Do you remember the Northridge earthquake in 1994? I do! I lived through it in Los Angeles.

Two days later I watched as CNN interviewed people commuting to work. The earthquake had damaged one of the main freeways leading into the city. Traffic was at a standstill, and what was normally a 1-hour drive had become a 2-3 hour drive.

The CNN reporter knocked on the window of one of the cars stuck in traffic and asked the driver how he was doing.

He responded, angrily, “I hate California. First there were fires, then floods, and now an earthquake! No matter what time I leave in the morning, I’m late for work. I can’t believe it!”

Then the Reporter knocked on the window of the car behind him and asked the driver the same question. This driver was all smiles.

He replied “It’s no problem. I left my house at five am. I don’t think under the circumstances my boss can ask for more than that. I have lots of music and Spanish-language tapes with me. I’ve got my cell phone. Coffee in a thermos, my lunch-I even have a book to read. I’m fine.”

Now, if the earthquake or the traffic were really the deciding variables, then everyone should have been angry. But everyone wasn’t.

It was their individual response to the traffic that gave them their particular outcome. It was thinking negative thoughts or positive thoughts, leaving the house prepared or leaving the house unprepared that made the difference. It was all a matter of attitude and behavior that created their completely different experiences.

If we all experience the same EVENT, the OUTCOME you get will be totally dependent upon your RESPONSE to the situation.

If you want to take control of how you respond to life, you’ll start noticing that your outcomes will be more along the lines of what you have always hoped.

Remember, you control your destiny so make it a fantastic one!

Don’t Fight Against Yourself!

Things in my life are changing ever more rapidly every day.  These changes are bringing  a lightness, calmness and happiness into my life that I was beginning to think would never happen.

Right there in that first statement you can see how things are turning around for me. The longer I thought they wouldn’t happen the longer it took for them too happen.  So change your expectations.  Find the positive; look forward; plan and expect success.

Second, do not fight yourself; as they say, “go with the flow”.  I spent so much time fighting my negative thoughts, fighting the negative thoughts people around me were sending and fighting my own belief that I could do it that it just wasted that time. 

Once I let go and began looking for the positive, the abundance; things started to turn. 

I still get negative.  I still get defensive and think how I can get back at someone who did me wrong.  I still have negative thoughts.  But the difference now is that I tune into them and say, “OK I am having a negative moment, sue me…”  Then I think about something positive, “Wow wasn’t talking to my daughter about how she has such a positive self image an amazing moment in my parenting life; I must be doing something right.”  (By the way that really did happen just last week.  I was so darn proud of her and me!)

By not getting upset with myself for having the negative thoughts, it made it that much easier to acknowledge them and turn them around into something more positive.  Sometimes it only takes me a single turn to get back on track.  Sometimes, especially when I am laying there trying to get back to sleep, I find myself having to do this several times to get past the negative.  So I just keep doing it….

It is not just bringing positive financial gain into my life; but take my above example, it is bringing better parenting skills which give me even greater joy.  If I can show my kids how to positively create success in their lives now; think of how much they could achieve!!

Remember it can be as simple as having enough air to breath!!!

Attitude Adjustment… Is It Time?

Each and every one of us experiences moments of anger, frustration and doubt.  But I recently learned that in order to achieve freedom and find happiness you must be aware of that and when it happens STOP and take control of that feeling. 

 

This doesn’t mean that when you realize you are having these feelings that you are going to be able to just push them aside and be all warm and fuzzy.  You won’t…  But what you can do is just change your feelings a little bit upward towards something more positive and this alone will help you to begin to control them. 

 

Below I am going to list the “Emotional Guidance Scale”  this information was taken from “Ask and It Is Given” by Esther and Jerry Hicks.  It has helped me to see how I can change how I am feeling into something more positive which in turn helps me to continue to take action and see positive results. 

 

The goal is to first see where you are at on the emotional scale then taking action to improve your feelings and thoughts to an emotion higher on the scale.  I am not saying you will be able to go from say, anger to Joy in one step but you can go from anger to blame to doubt to disappointment to…. easily if you are aware of it.  Each step upward is a step in the right direction. 

 

When you are able to improve your negative thoughts and emotions you are able to allow things to happen in a more positive way.  Whether or not you believe in the Law of Attraction or not being positive and taking positive action will help you to achieve good results. 

 

Being negative and thinking I can’t do it will also bring you results; just not the ones you want.  You will self perpetuate the “I can’t do it” by not doing it.  What will that ever get you?

 

When I started this journey just a few short months ago I tended to live in the area of numbers 8-17.  This was causing me to spin my wheels and accomplish a whole bunch of nothing. 

 

Since I started paying attention to my feelings in the last few months  (FYI every hour or so I stop for 10 seconds and really think about how I am feeling and take action to improve it if I need to.)   95% of the time I live in the area of numbers 1-7. 

 

You may ask how I improve my feelings.  The absolute easiest way to do this is to smile.  Yup, just smile.  I know it sounds hokey but it is really hard not to immediately become lighter by just smiling.  

 

Then I take a look at what I accomplished for the day so far.  If I wasn’t having a good day I look at a previous day to get inspiration.   (To be able to do this it is so important to find a way to document what you have done for the day.  I do this by keeping a piece of notepad paper next to me with categories like: exercise, personal growth, family time, calls made, emails sent, company events, and anything else I may want to track.  Then making notes or tick marks to track what I have done.)

 

Finally if none of this works I think back to a really great day in my life.  For me the birth of my children or even my Senior Prom brings happiness into my soul.  What ever makes your boat float.

 

Again, I have in no way perfected this but I have succeeded in improving my emotions and actions which in turn in brings me growing success.

Abundance Check Ritual in the New Moon

This ritual has been handed down through so many people that its origin has become unknown.

What are Abundance Checks?

Abundance checks are a tool we can use to create more abundance in our lives. They are written within 24 hours after a New Moon.

Surprisingly, you really don’t even need to believe that the check will work when you write it. You will however be amazed at the results, as you will see increased abundance in your life, in some life area. It is not always financial, but certainly in an area that you need.

There is a traditional manner, which has been handed down, that must be followed. If you do not have a checking account you can draw a check on a piece of paper and fill it out the same way – the results will be the same, more abundance for you.

Here’s how to do them:

1.) Within 24 hours after a New Moon, take a check from your check book. Where it says “Pay to,” write your name.

2.) In the little box on the same line where you would fill in a dollar amount write “Paid in full.”

3.) On the line underneath your name, where you would write out a dollar amount, write “Paid in full.” [I find it works better if you don't add the squiggly line.]

4.) Sign the check: “The Law of Abundance”

Do not put a date on the check. Do not write a specific dollar amount in the check. Put it in a safe place and forget about it. The Universe will take it from there.

Many people are skeptical about trying this until they do it. After the first time they realize the power of these checks and do them routinely every month! Try it yourself and see!
