Well for those of us that live in a place that lives with Daylight Savings time this weekend was the time to spring forward. Funny how everytime we have to change the clocks it makes me think about what's been going on in my life and this weekend was no different.
I realized that it's been almost a solid year since I made a real commitment to network marketing and having my own home business.
Things sure have changed in that year…
One year ago I was looking for an opportunity where I could work from home, support my family and allow me to actually enjoy what I am doing.
In April I was introduced to a travel opportunity. Wasn't at all interested in travel; but my sponsor Holly promised to help me so I jumped in. During the next month I learned how to present the business. Just as I was getting comfortable that particular business went into a holding pattern.
The group Holly was in pointed us in the direction of a marketing tool and we all stampeded over there. Again, learned that business and was actually having a miniscule amount of success which was giving me some confidence but wasn't making any real money.
In late July I was introduced to Tampogo. While recruiting for my marketing tool I met my sponsor in Tampogo. I thought I would just sign up for free; throw it out here on my blog and if someone ever bought anything I would buy something to activate my account. Then I was introduced to our Founders Chuck Stebbins and Isaac McLemore. I bought a product on autoship within 24 hrs. and I have never looked back.
Things really began hopping for me quickly with Tampogo. I introduced it to an associate I had only recently met in through the travel and marketing business and Tracy S. and I began a very fun, lucrative and amazing partnership.
About this time our mutual friend Holly indicated that the travel business was coming back to life and that we all needed to reactivate our accounts and take advantage of their new marketing system. Again, I wasn't really gung ho but I figured I was so financially invested in this travel thing I should at least keep it active. So stampede, stampede, stampede; we all followed again.
Well Tampogo was growing for me. Every month I added my iReps and every month my I learned more about the vision for the business that Chuck and Isaac have.
Next thing I know it is the end of September and I had just won the customer recruiting bonus in Tampogo. I was over the moon…
Travel and Marketing business doing nothing…
Thanksgiving is upon us and Tracy and I are wondering how we can increase our success and help even more people. We had a phone call withIsaac to brainstorm and T3 Training was born. This was a major challenge for both of us but we rose to the occassion and began building a very informative and fun daily 30 minute training call that has gone on to become a corporate call within Tampogo.
Holidays come and go and low and behold I am qualifying every month for President Circle and Power of Ten bonus pool at Tampogo.
2010 has continued to see my Tampogo business grow at a nice steady pace and in March things are really hopping since our wonderful leader Chuck has made it as easy as it gets to earn. All anyone has to do is get signed up and purchase a fast track product by 3-19-10. Then keep buying a fast track product each month; in August a diet product will be introduced where 25% of the revenue from that product will be put into a bonus pool for all active ireps who have bought product for the past 5 months and each month going forward.
If you can't see the value in that forget about network marketing it isn't for you.
I am still a member of the Travel and Marketing group and recently it was decided to move away from the marketing product and create our own tools. I only know that what I do for Tampogo works so I keep doing it.
And that in a nutshell has been my business journey. I am a stronger, happier and more successful person than I thought I could be.
