Well for those of us that live in a place that lives with Daylight Savings time this weekend was the time to spring forward.  Funny how everytime we have to change the clocks it makes me think about what's been going on in my life and this weekend was no different.

I realized that it's been almost a solid year since I made a real commitment to network marketing and having my own home business.

Things sure have changed in that year…

One year ago I was looking for an opportunity where I could work from home, support my family and allow me to actually enjoy what I am doing. 

In April I was introduced to a travel opportunity.  Wasn't at all interested in travel; but my sponsor Holly promised to help me so I jumped in.  During the next month I learned how to present the business.  Just as I was getting comfortable that particular business went into a holding pattern. 

The group Holly was in pointed us in the direction of a marketing tool and we all stampeded over there.  Again, learned that business and was actually having a miniscule amount of success which was giving me some confidence but  wasn't making any real money. 

In late July I was introduced to Tampogo.  While recruiting for my marketing tool I met my sponsor in Tampogo.  I thought I would just sign up for free; throw it  out here on my blog and if someone ever bought anything I would buy something to activate my account.   Then I was introduced to our Founders Chuck Stebbins and Isaac McLemore.  I bought a product on autoship within 24 hrs. and I have never looked back.

Things really began hopping for me quickly with Tampogo.  I introduced it to an associate I had only recently met in through the travel and marketing business and Tracy S. and I began a very fun, lucrative and amazing partnership.

About this time our mutual friend Holly indicated that the travel business was coming back to life and that we all needed to reactivate our accounts and take advantage of their new marketing system.  Again, I wasn't really gung ho but I figured I was so financially invested in this travel thing I should at least keep it active.  So stampede, stampede, stampede; we all followed again.

Well Tampogo was growing for me.  Every month I added my iReps and every month my I learned more about the vision for the business that Chuck and Isaac have. 

Next thing I know it is the end of September and I had just won the customer recruiting bonus in Tampogo.  I was over the moon…

Travel and Marketing business doing nothing…

Thanksgiving is upon us and Tracy and I are wondering how we can increase our success and help even more people.  We had a phone call withIsaac to brainstorm and T3 Training was born.  This was a major challenge for both of us but we rose to the occassion and began building a very informative and fun daily 30 minute training call that has gone on to become a corporate call within Tampogo. 

Holidays come and go and low and behold I am qualifying every month for President Circle and Power of Ten bonus pool at Tampogo.

2010 has continued to see my Tampogo business grow at a nice steady pace and in March things are really hopping since our wonderful leader Chuck has made it as easy as it gets to earn.  All anyone has to do is get signed up and purchase a fast track product by 3-19-10.  Then keep buying a fast track product each month; in August a diet product will be introduced where 25% of the revenue from that product will be put into a bonus pool for all active ireps who have bought product for the past 5 months and each month going forward.   

If you can't see the value in that forget about network marketing it isn't for you.

I am still a member of the Travel and Marketing group and recently it was  decided to move away from the marketing product and create our own tools.  I only know that what I do for Tampogo works so I keep doing it.

Life has a way of surprising us and it sure never ceases to amaze me…

I continue to grow emotionally, spiritually and financially and somehow the universe always puts exactly what I need in front of me when I need it. 

I have been blessed with amazing friends and family and during the last few weeks so many people have offered me help to keep me moving forward during my time of being computerless. 

Because of this I continue to grow and know any one can overcome anything it just takes learning how to raise yourself above self pity and sorrow and fill your mind and life with joy and abundance.

For those that don't know my computer died the weekend of my son's birthday. 

I am computerless…

A huge thanks to everyone for their patience and understanding. 

Fortunately, the wonderful people I work for at Accunet Web Services are allowing me to use their computer for an hour or so after I wrap up my work for the day and even better were able to help me find the missing link to get back into this dashboard.  (See there are still great employers out there.)

So I will begin updating everything and getting some new and fresh stuff out here.   It will take me some time because I have to manually write my thoughts out and then type them in here but I am that committed to you my reader and to my own success in my various businesses.

If you look back at the basis of our T3 training and so many of the other blog entries I have done in the past you will begin to see that I live by my own training and advice.  Without my ACTION acrynom I would not have been able to not only survive this time but I was still able to grow my Tampogo business in February and still get the President Circle Bonus and Power of Ten Bonus.

IF I CAN DO IT ANYONE CAN…

I am going to wrap it up for now but I will be adding material again and we will be able to all move forward and keep improving.

Many people say they want the time, freedom and financial security that business ownership brings, but most aren't willing to navigate the road to do what is necessary to make those dreams come true.

Let along learning what it takes to make all parts of their lives improve. 

Most people want to own that mustang (my personal favorite) and race off the starting line at top speed but haven’t a clue how to drive a stick to maximize speed.  They aren’t willing to take advice, learn and then apply what they learn to make themselves precision drivers.  THEY WANT IT NOW and use every short cut in an attempt to achieve success.  IE they set themselves up to crash and burn.

They Chant, visualize, meditate,  and create affirmations and while these are all great tools; doing just these things will not get you where you want to be.  You have to learn to apply you knowledge; you have to learn to take action.

Imagine your son was playing in his room with his ninja sword and accidentally broke the window.  So you immediately posted pictures of unbroken windows on the wall, murmured affirmations that it wasn’t 22 degrees out and you were warm as toast, and thought about how clean the glass is on the window.  Do you think that window is going to get fixed?

What if you got off your butt and walked over to the phone; picked it up and dialed (by the way your arms and legs aren’t painted on; really…) and called your best friend who by the way owns a glass business. 

Think that window got fixed?  Although the murmuring of positive affirmations did keep me from over reacting to my darling son by the way….

Do you do what you say you will.

You have to set the example for yourself.  I know it is hard.  There are so many days when I just don’t want to pick up the phone but I know I let myself down as well as my team when I don’t do this.  Even if no one else knows about it; I do.

The only way to master follow through is to do it. 

Even when it is hard; even when you don’t want to; you have to anyway.

If you don’t you will only find your self getting into all those bad procrastinating habits again and once again you will find yourself accomplishing nothing. 

So follow through.  Remember though that there are times when you need to reschedule something.  It happens.  Just pay attention and make sure you aren’t just rescheduling all the time and that within a weeks time you are following through on all that your promise.

I say it all the time: THE FORTUNE IS IN THE FOLLOW UP.

Being certain that no matter what happens you are going to accomplish what you have set out to do. 

Make the decision to commit.  Oh man don’t you hate when I show you how these all tie together…

Are you committed? 

By becoming committed you are saying that you will not quit; not matter what; you will not quit.

Now that doesn’t mean that if you commit to something and you honestly give your best and it fails that you keep doing it no matter what. It means that you commit to learning from your mistakes and you commit to getting right back up again and trying something else to achieve what you have decided you want for your ultimate life.

Folks I have started my own business, done contract work for others, and joined at least 4 other network marketing opportunities. 

I want to achieve financial security as part of my ultimate life so while many of these endeavors have not gained me any financial gain I am committed to finding the right opportunity to allow me to reach this personal goal. 

I know I have found it in Tampogo so I have committed to creating my success in Tampogo and even when I lost so many of my original recruits because I did not get them on autoship; because I was committed to making this work; I learned from my mistakes and I kept going…

Because of this commitment I am seeing real growth, taking part in the bonus pools and ultimately not just achieving financial security but creating my ultimate career as a mentor, teacher and entrepreneur.

Not too shabby if I say so myself…
